Enjoying my long awaited break =)
1 of life's simple pleasures 就是每天能睡到自然醒
真爽！Today's the 3rd day since the start of my leave. I've decided to take 1 mth leave so that I can clear all my leave days before they get forfeited. Previously, whenever I heard that my senior is going on 1 month long leave, i was always surprised at how did they even accumulate that much leave in the first place. Now I know why... as an assistant, u'll get seconded during off-peak months and also have to attend more trainings, so all the leave days are brought forward to the next year... Well, I've heard rumours that the Company is getting stricter in terms of forfeiting unused leave days due to the poor economic situation. To play safe, I've decided to clear most of my accum annual leave and enjoy life for this coming month =)
Well, my leave started quite abruptly so i haven't really planned what I wanna do. I was kind of irritated that I did not set out events/task to accomplish during my holi, coz I do not like to waste my whole holi just by lazing my days away, though I like to stone at home and do nothing sometimes.
Coming into my 3rd free day, i feel that the days are passing very slowly (which is good). Somehow things just fell into place: There's always something to do each day... luckily I have company
who makes every moment of my free time more enjoyable...The most eventful thing should be: I got myself a new pet =) Someone's still trying to help me settle it down. I'll post it when it's less shy... I need to say a BIG Thanks to 'U' for helping me gather all the quotes and liase with the numerous sellers and help me buy all the accesories
I really hope that I can get out of Singapore for a trip... to see and experience the world while I'm free and burden-less... *keeping my fingers crossed*
